For a long time, I carried the dream of visiting the Sahrawi refugee camps.To commit myself to a humanitarian cause, to capture human expressions, to tell untold stories this felt essential to me.
Discovering the camps confronted me with a heartbreaking reality: my country hosts the second longest refugee crisis in the world. Fifty years of displacement, this story began before I was even born.
